Barton D. Darrell practices principally civil trial law and school/education law. In his trial practice, Mr. Darrell concentrates in the area of civil defense including personal injury, insurance, education, and premises liability. Mr. Darrell is also a formally trained and certified mediator and serves as mediator in civil and domestic litigation throughout the state of Kentucky. He has been certified as a Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Law and a 1984 graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College, where he serves on the college’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Darrell joined the firm in 1987 and is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as well as its federal courts. He is a member and past president of the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association and is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Kentucky Defense Counsel. He is also past vice chair of Kentucky’s Council for Postsecondary Education, overseeing the operation of Kentucky’s colleges and universities.
