Lucas W. Humble
Mr. Humble routinely advises businesses and individuals in a variety of areas, primarily focusing on matters relating to corporate law, employment law, and insurance defense. He joined the firm in 2012 after graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was named to the Order of the Coif. During law school, he earned CALI Awards for receiving the highest grade in his class in Contracts, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, and Conflicts of Law. He also served as an Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal. In 2012, his note, Common Sense and the Commerce Clause: Why Elimination of the Physical Presence Test for Taxation Defies Both, 100 Ky. L. J. 707 (2012), was selected for publication by the Journal.
Mr. Humble received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University in 2009. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Management and departmental honors. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the United States District Courts for the Western District of Kentucky and the Eastern District of Kentucky, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is currently a member of the Bowling Green/Warren County Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and American Bar Association.
