J. Brent Wilkins
Mr. Wilkins practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and administration, corporate, and tax law. He received his LL.M in Taxation from the Washington University School of Law in 2011, and his Juris Doctor in 2005 from the Southern Illinois University School of Law, magna cum laude, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University in 1995. Mr. Wilkins joined the firm in 2011, and is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and Tennessee, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. Mr. Wilkins is a member of the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association, as well as a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association. While at Southern Illinois University he authored The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002: The Ripple Effects of Restoring Shareholder Confidence; 29 S. Ill. U. L. J. 339 (2005).
