Ian Loos joined Bell, Orr, Ayers & Moore in 2015, and focuses his practice on general civil litigation, including insurance defense, personal injury, commercial and business litigation, and nursing home abuse and neglect. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Loos served as a judicial clerk and staff attorney to Chief Justice John D. Minton, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Kentucky. This experience provided Mr. Loos the opportunity to work on many complex legal issues arising at various stages of litigation.
Mr. Loos received his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was named to the Order of the Coif, the law school’s most prestigious academic society. During law school, he served on the Editorial Board of the Kentucky Law Journal and as the Technical Writing Chair of the Moot Court Board.
